Leadership/staff
Andy French - Youth Director Born and raised in Pearisburg, Virginia, Andy has been a member of the Pearisburg First United Methodist Church his entire life. Andy attended Virginia Tech where he received a degree in Business Management with a minor in Leadership. He works full-time at Virginia Tech where he does program accounting. He began work as our Youth Director in October of 2006. He is married to his wife Mary Ellen and they have two children, Kaylie and Ryan.
Andy’s passion growing up was baseball and he was fortunate enough to work for 6 years in minor league baseball. He has several years experience working with youth in sports. Andy enjoys spending time with his family and working on and around the house.
