Leadership/staff
Burt has been in Christian music ministry for over 40 years in churches in West Virginia and Virginia and has spent the last 30+ at First United Methodist Church Pearisburg. He has a degree from Concord University.
He loves his job here in Pearisburg and tries to find an agreeable mix of traditional and contemporary music styles to uplift our worship.
Currently, Nancy Haynie plays the piano to accompany hymns while Burt plays the organ and Nancy also is willing to play duets with Burt from time to time for preludes.
