Our church will be hosting a revival May 20 through 22 beginning during Sunday morning services at 10:55 a.m. and continuing each evening at 7 p.m. Jason Roe will be leading this series. Jason is a conference evangelist in Holston Conference and is this year's speaker at Common Ground on May 19 at Giles High School. Jason's ministry spans the ranges of all ages and is especially meaningful to young people. We invite you to join us for this series of powerful messages and revival worship.

1 ½ yds solid-color fabric suitable for uniforms (khaki, forest green, blue or burgundy)
1 baby blanket
1 pair inexpensive sneakers (any size, child-adult)
NOTE: Pack all items in 2 gallon Zip-loc bag. A $5 donation for packing and shipping is to accompany each kit. Do not put money in bag!! Please have completed kits to the church NO LATER than June 3rd.

Musically Inclined? Need a job? Pearisburg First United Methodist Church is anticipating hiring a part time music director to be in place by the end of the calendar year. The successful candidate will be an experienced leader of volunteer choirs spanning ages from children to adults, with versatility in sacred musical styles, as well as leadership with congregational singing. Visual media, computer technology, care and use of sound system and recruitment of volunteers will be needed skills as well. We are also anticipating hiring a part time accompanist (organ/piano) to provide musical leadership of congregational and choral music for worship as well as appropriate service music. Experience in worship leadership in a church is a must, as well as ability to be part of a team. Salary for both positions will be commensurate with experience, and the positions are expected to be filled at the end of the calendar year.
