September 12 is Grandparents' Day. We will be celebrating by giving people the opportunity to place pictures of their grandparents on the sanctuary screen. A $5 donation will honor your grandparents and help us pay down our capital loan. ![]() Tilley Family Singing An evening of wonderful Southern Gospel singing is coming on Sunday night September 12, at 6 p.m. in our sanctuary, as Greg and Jennie Tilley of Blacksburg come to sing songs of the heart with us. Greg is a Chiropractor who operates Tilley Spinal & Wellness Center in Blacksburg. Everyone is welcome to this exciting evening of singing. ![]() Christianity's Family Tree: What Other Christians Believe and Why Beginning Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. we will be studying the beliefs of several other denominational groups within the Christian faith. You will want to come to all seven of these Sunday nights. The study is based on a book by Adam Hamilton, lead pastor of the Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas. We will seek to learn what is central to each of several groups within the Christian religion and seek to find how God is using each of these groups to carry out the mission of the Kingdom of God.
